The state address will be delivered at the Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representative Council (DPD) at the Parliament Building here on Friday.
The speech marks a significant moment, marking the direct delivery of Prabowo's vision, policy direction, and initial achievements of the administration to the people's representatives and the entire nation.
In his inaugural state address, President Prabowo will outline the achievements of his first 300 days in office, including the implementation of a number of quick-win programs over the past 10 months.
The programs include free nutritious meals in schools, free health checks, the construction of regional hospitals, the eradication of tuberculosis (TB), school renovations, the construction of national food barns, and the distribution of various social support and business support.
President Prabowo has also launched the People's School program, the Red and White Village Cooperative, and the construction of three million houses.
In the economic sector, the government has written off trillions of rupiah in bad debts of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Meanwhile, in the infrastructure sector, the government is accelerating the construction of dams, irrigation networks, schools, roads, and various national strategic projects.
The series of events for the Annual Session will begin at 09.00 (local time), starting with the opening ceremony, a moment of silence, introductory speeches by the Chairman of the MPR Ahmad Muzani and the Chairman of the House Puan Maharani, as well as the screening of a video about the achievements of the President's leadership.
Following President Prabowo's State Address, House of Representatives Speaker Puan Maharani will continue the annual session agenda, interspersed with performances of Indonesian songs, before officially closing.
The 2025 Annual Session and the Joint Session of will be held ahead of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme "United Sovereignty, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia".
After the Annual Session and the Joint Session, Prabowo will deliver his second state address before the House Plenary Session at 14.30 local time.
The Head of State is scheduled to deliver an introduction to the 2026 Draft State Budget (RAPBN).
In accordance with guidelines for the 80th Indonesian Independence Day commemoration issued by the Minister of State Secretary on August 12, 2025, all government agencies, private sector, and public are encouraged to watch the live broadcast of both speeches through various channels, including radio, television, YouTube, and other broadcast platforms.
