“The government cannot work alone. We need collaboration. That spirit must be nurtured; when we work together, MSMEs will grow faster, stronger, and more independently,” the ministry's Deputy for Entrepreneurship Siti Azizah said in a statement received here on Saturday.
One example of the ministry’s synergy with strategic partners was the 2025 Sampoerna MSME Festival, themed “Empowered MSMEs, Innovation as a National Legacy,” which took place from August 19-22 in Jakarta.
“This festival is not just an exhibition but also a platform for learning, collaboration, and strengthening our MSME ecosystem,” Azizah said.
The four-day festival, she continued, serves as a holistic platform combining MSME product exhibitions, educational sessions, and licensing facilitation.
In addition to the exhibition, the event also featured digital marketing training, batik-making workshops, and business networking sessions.
Some public service booths are present there, such as trademark registration from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI), the Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH), Business Identification Number (NIB) from Online Single Submission, and Tax Corner.
“This event serves as part of our steps to support MSMEs. With the spirit of the Three Hands Philosophy, we will continue to provide promotional space and inspiration for MSMEs,” said PT Sampoerna Land Tenant Relations Manager Sherly Salim.
"We extend our gratitude to all parties who have supported this event, the government through various ministries and agencies, MSME communities, and the organizer,” Chair of the 2025 Sampoerna MSME Festival Committee, Luqmanul Hakim, added.
