The achievement reflected Coats’ commitment to building a positive and inclusive workplace culture across the region.
“Being named to the Best Workplaces in Asia List is a reflection of our commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive workplace culture,” said David Paja, Group Chief Executive Officer.
Coats, headquartered in the UK, has operations across some 50 countries with a permanent workforce of more than 16,000, serving its customers worldwide.
This year’s list was chosen after surveying more than 3.2 million employees in Asia and the Middle East about their workplace experiences.
In total, the survey results represented the work experiences of over 7.5 million employees across the region. To qualify, companies must appear on at least one national Best Workplaces list and, in the large category, employ more than 500 people across Asia.
“These leading companies are showing the way, building workplaces that make communities stronger, nations more prosperous, and the world a better place,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work.
In addition to this Asia-wide recognition, Coats has also earned multiple accolades at the country level this year. Coats Indonesia has also been listed among the Best Workplaces in Indonesia.
Coats India has been recognised as one of India’s Best Workplaces in Textiles and Textile Products and Best Workplaces in Manufacturing.
Coats China has been named among the Best Workplaces for Women in Greater China, and Coats Vietnam has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Vietnam.
Those recognitions were based on confidential survey data assessing employee experiences of trust, innovation, company values, and leadership. The companies consistently honoured demonstrate high levels of employee satisfaction across all roles and demographics.
