This was conveyed during his meeting with the Minister of Culture, Community, and Youth of Singapore, David Neo, in Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday, held ahead of the Culture, Heritage, Art, Narrative, Diplomacy, and Innovation (CHANDI) 2025 international conference.
"We hope there can be cooperation in the field of inscription with Singapore, similar to what Indonesia has already done with Thailand and Malaysia. We hope there will be joint activities to strengthen shared culture in Southeast Asia," he said.
According to him, there are also cooperation opportunities that the two countries can explore in film production, such as the exchange of filmmakers.
He affirmed that his ministry is looking forward to concrete steps from the ideas explored during the meeting, towards stronger cooperation between the two countries in the future.
"We are thankful for Singapore's dedication to strengthening cultural relations with Indonesia," Minister Fadli said.
On that occasion, he also said that Indonesia admires Singapore for its strong focus on art.
"Singapore pays attention to art, especially in collecting contemporary and classical artworks from a number of Indonesian artists," she said.
At Tuesday's meeting, Minister Neo welcomed the cooperation that has been proposed for Indonesia and Singapore.
Under the theme of "Culture for the Future", CHANDI 2025 will be held as the first CHANDI organized by Indonesia after the establishment of the Ministry of Culture in 2024.
The international forum, scheduled to be held on September 3-5, 2025, in Bali, will bridge discussions on local wisdom, sustainable development, digital transformation, concrete action on climate change, and world peace.
