The trucks left Cairo for Rafah in two groups of five on Aug. 19 and Aug. 28, Baznas said in a statement on Wednesday.
They carried about 15,000 packages of food and essentials for civilians struggling to obtain staples amid Israel’s military campaign in the enclave.
“Praise be to God, we can send 15,000 aid packages in collaboration with Mish Al Kheir. Hopefully, the delivery will face no obstacles and ease the burden of our brothers and sisters in Gaza,” Baznas Head Noor Achmad said.
He said the relief effort was a mandate for Baznas, funded by alms, voluntary charity and donations collected from Indonesians.

“We are determined to ensure the aid donated by Indonesian citizens truly reaches the people of Palestine,” Achmad said.
Baznas Director of Collection Faisal Qosim said the agency coordinated with the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo to oversee the delivery until the convoy reached the Ahmad Hamdi Tunnel, the first checkpoint.
“This point marks the beginning of a red zone, where no one can enter without permission,” he said.
The tunnel under the Suez Canal connects mainland Egypt to the Sinai Peninsula, leading toward El Arish and Rafah.
“The 10 trucks carrying aid will join a national convoy of some 5,000 trucks coordinated by the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity,” Qosim added.
