"We understand the difficulty of finding work in certain places and for certain groups," the President said in a statement received on Monday.
"But we have proven that our government has created many jobs, and the potential for future employment is enormous," he added.
Prabowo also said the government is preparing social protection programs for the poorest citizens.
"We have allocated substantial support and safety nets for the most vulnerable. I won’t go into detail here; you can check the specifics," he said.

The President expressed optimism that these measures would gain public support, despite attempts by some groups to undermine trust in the government.
He viewed this as a challenge best addressed through dialogue.
"I regret that there are parties who want to undermine public trust in the government. However, we see this as a challenge. We will continue to engage in communication and welcome dialogue from all sides," Prabowo said.
"But we prioritize the interests of the nation above all else," he continued.

Prabowo emphasized that his guiding principle is the 1945 Constitution (UUD), which mandates the state to protect the Indonesian people.
"My basis is our Constitution, the 1945 Constitution, where our first national objective is for the state to protect all the people of Indonesia," he stated.
On Saturday, in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, the President had told the media that the government had expanded opportunities for large-scale employment across multiple sectors.
