Jakarta (ANTARA) - In its first year, the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has achieved a range of milestones, with room still left for improvement, Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi stated.

"The government has brought about numerous positive results, or achievements, over the past year. However, we acknowledge that there are still some issues we should focus on addressing," Hadi told the press.

The minister highlighted the Red and White Cabinet's performance as its first anniversary approaches at President Prabowo's residence on Kertanegara Street, South Jakarta, on Sunday night (October 12), in response to media questions.

He assured the public that the government would continue to thoroughly evaluate its programs and policies to ensure they deliver tangible benefits and progress for society.

"We would like to ask you for your prayer," he addressed the people, seeking their support for the Prabowo-Gibran administration in making improvements and delivering on its development promises.

President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran took their oath of office in Jakarta on October 20 last year, succeeding Seventh President Joko Widodo and 13th Vice President Ma’ruf Amin.

Within their first year in office, Prabowo and Gibran have rolled out a series of people-centered initiatives, including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, the Free Health Checks program, the Red and White Village Cooperatives program, and the Sekolah Rakyat tuition-free education program.

On Sunday night, President Prabowo summoned several ministers, Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, National Police (Polri) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Deputy Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita to his private residence in Jakarta.

During the high-level meeting, the head of state approved several strategic measures and economic stimulus initiatives to be rolled out starting next week.

The President, according to the Cabinet Secretariat, expressed confidence that the government’s various programs and policies would lead to job creation and stimulate economic activity, ultimately strengthening Indonesia’s economic standing.

He also pointed to the establishment of over 11 thousand special kitchens nationwide for the MBG program, the construction of 350 thousand subsidized homes for low-income citizens, and the expansion of agricultural areas.

Furthermore, he stressed that the government would continue to oversee the implementation of all initiatives to ensure they contribute to national development.
