A special team from the Finance Ministry has been assigned to receive and process the reports.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has launched a public complaints service called “Lapor Pak Purbaya” to accommodate public reports related to tax and customs issues.
Members of the public who wish to file complaints regarding tax or customs services can send a direct message via WhatsApp to 082240406600.
“This service is for those who have complaints about taxes, tax officers, or customs officers they feel have acted improperly, or any other issues related to tax and customs,” Purbaya told the media in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He explained that the complaint line has been active since today and can be accessed by the public via WhatsApp.
A special team from the Finance Ministry has been assigned to receive and process the reports.
However, the minister noted that incoming messages will not receive an immediate reply. All reports will first be collected and screened to determine which can be followed up.
Through “Lapor Pak Purbaya,” the minister hopes to strengthen public trust in tax and customs services. The initiative also reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in handling public complaints.
“We will validate every report first. Once validated, we will follow it up thoroughly until there are no unresolved complaints,” he said.
