Gibran conveyed his birthday message through a post uploaded to Instagram by the Vice Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta on Friday.
"Happy birthday, President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto," the Vice President noted in the post, accompanied by a photo of the President.
He also prayed for Prabowo to remain strong and dependable in guiding the nation.
"May God always grace you with health, strength, and blessings in your journey of leading the nation toward an advanced and sovereign Indonesia, Mr. President," the caption read.
The post received warm public responses, with netizens sharing similar wishes and highlighting the harmonious working relationship between Prabowo and Gibran in leading the country. Other high-ranking officials also extended their greetings, including Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, who also serves as Prabowo’s spokesperson.
"Mr. President, may Allah bless you with health, strength, and wisdom in carrying out the enormous duty of leading the nation," he said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad conveyed his wishes through a short Instagram video showcasing their close personal bond.
Former Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan, Prabowo’s 2024 presidential election rival, also wished him a happy birthday on Instagram.
"A huge mandate always carries with it the prayers of the many: May Allah grant you guidance, protection, and resolve in making the right decisions to help this nation navigate various challenges," he stated.
Known as a prominent military figure, Prabowo was born to Soemitro Djojohadikusumo and Dora Marie Sigar in Jakarta on October 17, 1951. His father held several ministerial posts under Presidents Soekarno and Soeharto.
He married Soeharto’s daughter, Siti Hediati Hariyadi, with whom he has a son, Ragowo Didiet Hediprasetyo.
Alongside Gibran, Prabowo took the oath of office on October 20 last year, succeeding Seventh President Joko Widodo and marking the beginning of his administration.
Since then, the Red and White Cabinet has introduced several flagship programs, including Free Nutritious Meals, Free Health Checks, Red and White Village Cooperatives, Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School), and Red and White Fishing Villages.
