At a plenary cabinet session marking one year of his administration, Prabowo said the measure reflects his commitment to improving budget governance and eradicating corruption throughout the bureaucracy.
“We have successfully diverted Rp306 trillion of the state budget, which was prone to corruption, into pro-people programs,” he told the meeting at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday.
He said the reallocation is part of broader efforts to ensure the budget is used efficiently and directly benefits citizens rather than being lost in bureaucratic inefficiencies.
The savings have been used to fund flagship social programs, including Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), the People’s Schools (Sekolah Rakyat), Free Health Checks, direct cash assistance, and improvements to village and agricultural infrastructure, he added.
Prabowo vowed to strengthen law enforcement and warned that no corruption cases would be beyond reach.

“We are determined to eliminate all corruption cases. No more untouchables. I thank law enforcement officers who steadfastly carry out this noble task,” he said.
He praised the work of investigators who, he said, had saved more than Rp1,000 trillion ($58 billion) in potential state losses from corruption, natural resource smuggling, and budget misappropriation.
Corruption eradication, Prabowo said, must go hand in hand with reforms in the public financial system to plug leakages and ensure transparency.
He added that improving the welfare of law enforcement officers is vital to sustaining clean governance.
“We are increasing the salaries of the lowest-ranking judges by 280 percent. This is crucial to prevent bribery. Our judges must not be bought by anyone,” Prabowo said.
The president said the reforms marked a step toward restoring public trust and ensuring that the state budget serves the people’s interests rather than private gain.
