Jakarta (ANTARA) - ANTARA News Agency showcased the government’s achievements during the first year of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s administration through a photo exhibition attended by several ministers.

Titled “The Red and White Direction: One Year of Prabowo-Gibran,” the exhibition gathered Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, Health Minister Budi Sadikin, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, and Creative Economy Minister Teuku Harsya, among others, at the ANTARA Heritage Center in Jakarta on Thursday.

Hadi, who also serves as President Prabowo’s spokesperson, expressed appreciation to ANTARA for its role in raising public awareness of government programs and policies in its first year through journalistic documentation.

He noted that all government initiatives stem from its love for the people and its commitment to serving the state and the nation, adding that the exhibition’s title aptly reflects this mission.

“We in the government are mandated to carry out ‘The Red and White Direction’ in every aspect, in collaboration with the people and the press,” he said.

Also present at the event, Government Communication Agency (BKP) Head Angga Raka Prabowo remarked that he often hears stories from ANTARA reporters about covering President Prabowo’s people-centered policies.

“I would like to extend my gratitude to ANTARA as the state news agency,” he said.

Meanwhile, ANTARA President Director Akhmad Munir stated that the exhibition features around 117 photos and dozens of multiplatform works that portray the nation’s journey toward progress under President Prabowo’s leadership.

He added that beyond capturing moments, the works also reflect ANTARA’s commitment to contributing to national journalism through credible reporting that emphasizes humanity in every story.

“As the country’s official news agency, ANTARA is morally responsible for serving as the people’s ‘lantern’ of enlightening information,” said Munir, who also chairs the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI).

Within their first year in office, Prabowo and Gibran have rolled out a series of people-centered initiatives, including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, the Free Health Checks program, the Red and White Village Cooperatives program, and the Sekolah Rakyat tuition-free education program.

All these programs reflect Prabowo-Gibran's eight core missions, called the Asta Cita, which aim to prepare Indonesia to usher in a golden era by 2045.
