Speaking at the launch of the Digital Learning Program at a public junior high school in Bekasi, West Java, Prabowo said the initiative builds on accelerated device distribution that began in mid-2025.
He said early results showed signs of success but urged officials to remain alert and focused.
Prabowo stressed the need to expand high-quality learning content and draw on top global educational resources.
He instructed the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to form a team to review and adapt international digital content, including animations, to meet the needs of Indonesian students.
He said technology access and strong educational content were central to building an inclusive and modern school system.
So far, 215,572 interactive flat panels (IFPs) have been shipped, with 172,550 already delivered to schools and 43,022 still in transit. The government aims to complete deliveries by December 2025.

The Ministry of Education has trained 64,000 teachers, supported by 1,450 Digital Education Mentors to help schools use IFPs and the Rumah Pendidikan platform.
Alumni of the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) are also assisting as facilitators in various regions.
The smartboard rollout is being carried out under Presidential Instruction No. 7 of 2025, which mandates school revitalization, the development of model schools, and accelerated digital learning.
The IFPs will support real-time remote learning, with teachers able to interact directly with students.
The government plans to equip every classroom with a smartboard. This year, about 288,000 units are set for delivery to 330,000 schools nationwide.
