Pasaman SAR Post Coordinator Novi Yurandi said on Sunday in Simpang Empat that the shipment was transported aboard the KN SAR 240 Ramawijaya from Teluk Bungus Port in Padang to Nagari Katiagan and Nagari Maligi.
He explained that the supplies were provided by the West Sumatra Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and distributed through Basarnas because some residents remain unreachable by land.
The total aid amounted to 14.3 tons. In Nagari Katiagan, Kinali Sub-district, the unloaded items included tea, instant noodles, snacks and bread, coffee, sardines, family kits, bottled water, rice, and milk.
Other supplies consisted of cooking oil, clothing, sarongs, cup noodles, corned beef, sanitary pads, baby diapers, additional rice, and hygiene items such as toothpaste and toothbrushes.
According to Novi, the aid delivered to Nagari Maligi in Sasak Ranah Pasisie Sub-district matched the quantity supplied to Katiagan.
