Kambu said priority programmes launched in the province’s first year covered education, health, economic empowerment, infrastructure, tourism and religious services, reflecting the administration’s core agenda.
In education, the province distributed aid to districts, supplied two buses, allocated Rp24.79 billion and awarded pilot scholarships to six indigenous Papuans.
A total of 222 job seekers received training, 87 interns were placed, 584 students secured financial assistance and a special-needs school opened in Raja Ampat.
In the health sector, Rp55.9 billion was allocated for medical equipment across all districts and cities, Rp7.8 billion for medicines and more than Rp14 billion for health insurance subsidies.
Thirty-one indigenous Papuans received specialist doctor scholarships, while Rp4.17 billion was granted to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Papua.

Economic support included Rp10.03 billion for 2,654 indigenous entrepreneurs and BPJS state health-insurance coverage for more than 77,500 people.
The government also distributed small-business facilities, agricultural seeds, livestock, fisheries equipment, supermarket shelves and production machinery.
In infrastructure, dozens of road, bridge, port, drainage and transportation projects were implemented across Southwest Papua.
Key initiatives included constructing piers on Ram and Soop islands, upgrading strategic roads such as Fef–Miyah, Ayata–Aisa and Seget–Dau, and rehabilitating homes.
The provincial government also provided leadership training, homestay-business assistance and Rp66.98 billion for religious institutions, including churches and mosques.
The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme supported more than 54,000 beneficiaries, while nearly 1,000 Red and White cooperatives received assistance.
Kambu said free health check-ups, community learning programmes and housing development continue as part of the province’s long-term agenda.
