The Red-and-White squad consists of 10 male and six female riders who will participate in the championship, which is part of the international competition calendar under the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
The men’s team includes Aiman Cahyadi, M. Syelhan, Astnan Maulana, Dimas N. Fadhil, M. Abdurrohman, M. Andy Royan, Raihan Maulidan, M. Hafizh, Radita Etto Wibowo, and Vinsya Aditya Putra Ramadhana.
Meanwhile, the women’s team features Ayustina Delia Priatna, Nihayatuzzain Asshofi, Sayu Bella Sukma Dewi, Shafa Al Zahra, Ida Ayu Manik, and Syahla Syafiah.
The Asian Championship is a crucial event for Indonesia’s cycling team to measure athlete readiness for international competitions throughout this year's season, including the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
Indonesia has previously achieved success in the event, with Ayustina Delia Priatna winning a silver medal in the women’s Individual Time Trial at the 2022 Asian Road Cycling Championship.
The 2026 championship is set to be the largest in the region’s history. The Saudi Cycling Federation confirmed that Saudi Arabia officially won hosting rights for this event as well as the Asian Paralympic Cycling Championship, marking the first time the country has hosted a top-level Asian road cycling event.
The championship is projected to feature over 1,500 male and female athletes from approximately 40 Asian countries, competing in 24 events, including elite, junior, youth, and Paralympic categories.
All races will be held on specially prepared road courses in the Qassim Region, following UCI safety and technical standards.
