The Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, stated in Jakarta on Friday that his agency is providing coordination support, strengthening emergency response command systems, and preparing resources based on needs on the ground.
BNPB ensured that rapid response teams from the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agencies (BPBDs) of Pacitan and Trenggalek (East Java), as well as Bantul (Yogyakarta), have conducted post-earthquake monitoring and rapid assessments to check the impact.
"As of the time this report was prepared, the BPBDs and related agencies are still carrying out emergency response operations, monitoring the community's conditions, and continuing to collect data on damage and affected residents," he said.
