BPH Migas committee member Fathul Nugroho said in a statement on Tuesday that as of March 22, national fuel reserves remain adequate for both subsidized and non-subsidized fuels.
Distribution from Pertamina fuel terminals to gas stations is running smoothly, ensuring public needs are met.
"The government, as directed by Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, guarantees fuel availability and distribution. Quality monitoring is also routinely carried out in line with government standards," he said.
BPH Migas also appreciated Pertamina for maintaining 24-hour readiness to secure fuel stocks and distribution.
Earlier, the agency said fuel supply in Kalimantan remains secure.
In West Kalimantan, fuel deliveries to gas stations have been increased since the takbiran night on March 20, following a coordination meeting of the national energy sector task force for Ramadan and Eid.
Several gas stations in Pontianak have also operated 24 hours to reduce queues.
Sales Area Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Kalimantan Widhi Tri Adhi Hidayat said as of March 23, fuel distribution in the region remains safe and smooth.
Queues in Pontianak and Kubu Raya have returned to normal, while conditions in Mempawah, Singkawang, and Bengkayang remain moderate. Efforts are ongoing to reduce queues in Sambas and Landak.
He said that during March 9-22, fuel distribution in West Kalimantan averaged 2,749 kiloliters per day for Pertalite and Pertamax series, up 19.8 percent from normal, with a peak increase of 54 percent on March 20.
Diesel distribution reached 1,420 kiloliters per day, down 3.7 percent from normal, with the highest increase of 20 percent on March 18.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan has also ensured smooth supply by adding fuel tankers and operating the Pontianak terminal 24 hours.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga Roberth MV Dumatubun said distribution strengthening efforts continue to ensure availability and optimal services.
Pertamina, along with regional governments and law enforcement, is also stepping up coordination, including public outreach and action against hoarding and speculative practices.
The public can report suspected hoarding to the Pertamina Contact Center at 135.
"We are committed to ensuring energy needs are met across Indonesia," he said.
