Indonesian Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, in an official Instagram post cited in Jakarta on Sunday, said the government remains committed to rolling out policies that protect and enlighten all elements of the Indonesian public while raising their welfare.
President Prabowo and the ministers spent hours discussing strategic issues aimed at delivering greater benefits to the people.
On the labor issues, President Prabowo focused heavily on the aspirations of various labor unions across Indonesia which were crucial as the government has issued several policies pro-workers during the May Day on Friday (May 1) at the National Monument, Jakarta.

Meanwhile, on the higher education sector, the meeting highlighted that the government is encouraging universities to directly participate in development in their respective regions. The government specifically encouraged faculties of engineering at the universities to play more active roles.
The ministers of Kabinet Merah Putih, who attended the meeting, include Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin; Foreign Minister Sugiono; Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto; State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi; and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
Meanwhile, the military and police chiefs joining the meeting were TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, TNI Deputy Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita, as well as Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak and Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali.
Also attending the forum were State Intelligence Agency Chief Herindra, Government Communication Agency (Bakom) Head Muhammad Qodari, and Deputy Communication and Digital Minister Angga Raka Prabowo.
