The Head of Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center at the National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), Abdul Muhari, informed that based on preliminary data, a total of 20 climbers were located in the mountain area, consisting of nine Singaporean, three residents of Ternate, and eight local residents from the surrounding area.
"To date, 14 people have been found safe. However, as of Friday afternoon, two foreign climbers were still missing, initials H.W.Q.T. (Male, 30) and S.M.B.A.H. (Male, 27)," Muhari said.
He explained details of the foreign survivors are T.Y.M.E. (Male, 30); O.S.S. (Female, 37); P.L. (Female, 33); L.H.E.I. (Female, 31); T.J.Y.G. (Female, 30); L.Y.X.V. (Female, 30); and L.S.D. (Male, 29), all of whom were Singaporean citizens.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian survivors included B.B. (Male, 24); Y. (Male, 23); S. (Male, 26); A. (Male, 22); H. (Male, 26); F.N. (Female, 27); and R.I. (Female, 29).

At 2:10 p.m., the search operation was temporarily halted for he safety of the personnel in the field due to the potential for incandescent lava to reach approximately 1.5 kilometers from the crater summit.
At that time, the entire evacuation team was reported to be at Post 5 while awaiting safer volcanic conditions to resume the search. Subsequently, at 3:25 p.m., the search resumed and the joint SAR team is currently divided into two search points.
The first team is conducting a search along the hiking route toward the summit, currently around 500 meters away from it. Meanwhile, the second team is sweeping the river basin near the summit. The operation is focused on locating two Singaporean climbers who are still missing.
Mount Dukono in North Halmahera, North Maluku, erupted at 741 a.m. on Friday with the impact of the eruption was observed in the Galela Sub-district, specifically in Mamunya Village.
Mount Dukono, which is currently at alert level II, has experienced increased visual and seismic activity since March 29, 2026, with an average of 95 eruptions recorded.
