The meeting between the Ministry and RIM, would be held on Monday (Jan 17) at 9.00 a.m. local time, Ministry of Communications and Information spokesman Gatot S. Dewa Broto said here Sunday.
The meeting will be held in Sapta Pesona Building, on 13th floor of the Post and Telecommunications General Directorate.
RIM of Canada has confirmed to attend the meeting along with officials of the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta.
The Ministry would ask for RIM`s commitment to comply with the law and business regulations in Indonesia especially on filtering pornographic contents, in giving its services in Indonesia, Gatot said.
After the meeting with RIM, Communications and Information Minister Tifatul Sembiring was slated to attend another meeting with Commission I of the House of Representative to discuss Blackberry`s operations and services in Indonesia.
