Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Police are currently investigating Guyana passports with pictures similar to those of former taxman Gayus and his wife Milana Anggraeni, National Police chief General Timur Pradopo said.

"Right now we are still involved in the process of investigating the Gayus passport case," he said here on Wednesday.

Timur however declined to answer a question if Gayus and Milana have once run to Guyana with the discovery of passport copies on the e-mail data of passport case suspect Arie Nur Irawan, sent by John Jerome Grice, another passport case suspect now still at large.

The passport with a picture similar to Gayus is under the name of Yosep Morris while the other one with a picture like Milana is under the name of Ann Morris.

The copies of passports with pictures like those of Gayus and Milana were discovered in the electronic mail data belonging to Ari sent by John between July and August.

The police are now cooperating with other countries to uncover the case and find John who is a US citizen.

Gayus had once left the police Mobile Brigade detention cell to go to several countries with his wife.

He was alleged to have been in Macau on September 22 to 24, and again left to Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Singapore and Hong Kong on September 30 and returned on October 2, 2010 with Milana.

The police learned that the passport with picture of Gayus under the name of Sony Laksono was originally made for Margareta, a five year old child.(*)
