Zurich (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to deliver a key note speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

The theme of the 41st WEF, which is taking place from Jan. 26 to Jan. 30, is "Shared Norms for the New Reality."

Over the course of the five-day meeting, more than 2,500 leaders, who represent business, government, civil society, academia and culture and hail from more than 100 countries, will convene in Davos-Klosters.

This is the first attendance of President Yudhoyono at WEF, and Indonesia will be the host of the WEF for East Asia on July 12-13, 2011.

Yudhoyono and his entourage arrived in Zurich on Wednesday evening and would proceed to Davos on Thursday morning.

Upon his arrival at Congress Zentrum, he would hold a meeting with WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab prior to delivering his speech. After giving his speech, President Yudhoyono will respond to questions from Klaus Schwab at the forum.

He is also scheduled to be a panelist at the session on sustainable development along with President Felipe Calderon of Mexico, President Tarja Halonen of Finland and President Jacob G Zuma of South Africa.

President Yudhoyono is also to attended a meeting to discuss economic growth and revitalization of world trade to be attended by British Prime Minister David Cameron, Germen Chancellor Angela Merkel and World Trade Organization director Pascal Lamy.

On the sidelines of the WEF forum in Davos President Yudhoyono would also hold bilateral meetings with a number of heads of state or government such as President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia, President Nicolas Sarkozy of France and President of the Swiss Confederation, Micheline Clamy Rey.

President Yudhoyono is also scheduled to meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, former US president Bill Clinton and former British prime minister Tony Blair.

President Yudhoyono would also attend an "Indonesia Co-Co Night" to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and cooperation .

President Yudhoyono will be in Switzerland until January 29 and is scheduled to arrive back home at 9.45am on Sunday (Jan 30).
