Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Monday commands evacuation of Indonesian in Egypt through airplane.

Therefore, the government has formed a special unit consisting of personnel from Health Ministry and Transportation Ministry. The unit is led by a member of Presidential Advisory Board as well as former Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda.

It is planned that the unit will leave for Egypt and evacuate Indonesians by commercial and military planes. "I expect the units will leave as soon as possible," said the president.

Earlier, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa stated the government was considering to evacuate Indonesians who were still staying in Egypt. The minister said the government kept monitoring the safety of Indonesians in Egypt through 20 posts and three evacuation spots in Egypt.
