Lebak, Banten (ANTARA News) - Three corpses of Ahmadiyah followers killed in clashes with local residents on Sunday morning at 10.30 am, were still at the Malingping Hospital in Lebak.

"The three corpses were not yet taken by their family," a medical staff of the hospital, Mahdiat, said here Sunday.

According to him, the corpses were identified as Karno, Mulyadi and Roni. The three full of stab wounds, died on their way to the hospital.

"I could not save them because they died before arriving here," Mahdiat said.

He said the hospital received eight victims of the clash between Ahmadiyah and local residents in Cikeusik, Pandeglang, here Sunday at 11.20 am local time.

Unfortunately, they all had died and five of them were brought to Serang Hospital.

"We couldn`t operate on the five dying victims because we did not have the instruments. So we referred them to the Serang Hospital," he said.

He said most of the Ahmadiyah followers and residents were injured by sharp weapons. The three dead victims had wide gaping wounds on their neck, stomach and head.

The dead bodies were still laid at the hospital`s morque waiting for their relatives to take them.

"We hope the families come to the hospital to take their dead relatives," he said.(*)
