Bandarlampung, Sumatra (ANTARA News) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed that a 5-magnitude quake struck on Saturday at 5.08 am with its epicenter 44 km southeast of Mukomuko in Bangkulu.

The quake was located 30 degrees southern latitude, and 101.06 degrees eastern longitude in a depth of 61 kilometers, but without a potential to trigger a tsunami.

The quake`s center was also located 85 kilometers east of Pagaiselatan, Mentawai, West Sumatra Barat; 110 kilometers southwest of Sungaipenuh, Jambi; 116 kilometers southeast of Pagai Utara, Mentawai; and 731 kilometers northwest of Jakarta.
