Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A magnitude-5 earthquake jolted Nangroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) on early Tuesday at 02.30 am Indonesian Western Time Zone (WIB).

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported on its site that the epicenter of the quake was located at 2.40 degrees northern latitude and 96.43 degrees eastern longitude, or about 11 kilometers southeast of Sinabang, NAD and at a depth of 10 kilometers below sea level.

The temblor was also felt in Simeleu district and there was no immediately reports of casualties or material damages.(*)
