Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Busyro Muqoddas, said the whereabouts of Nunun Nurbaeti were still unknown until now.

"It is still unknown," he said here on Monday. He said KPK had asked her family to present her but no reply had been received yet.

Busryo said KPK investigators had information that Nunun, the wife of former deputy chief of national police, retired Inspector General Adang Dorodjatun, had always moved in several foreign countries.

On the possibility of forcibly taking her home, Busryo said KPK had limitations to chase the key witness in the case of bribery during the election of former central bank senior deputy governor Miranda Goeltom in 2004 because she was abroad.

"It will be easy if she is in a place just outside the town. But if she is in Singapore that has no extradition agreement with Indonesia who can forcibly pick her," he said.

Busryo however said KPK would continue to find here for questioning.

KPK has already summoned her several times but Nunun has never met it.

The bribery case also involves around 24 parliament members of the 2004-2009 term.
