Ambon, Maluku (ANTARA News) - Fijian Ambassador to Indonesia Ratu Cavuilati Tuinausori is scheduled to visit Maluku on April 11-12 2011, an official said.

"The Fijian Ambassador is scheduled to arrive at Ambon`s Pattimura International Airport on Monday (April 11) morning and will head to Kota Tual and Southeast Maluku Districts," Bakry Lumbessy, a local information and communication official, said here Saturday.

There is no further explanation about the agenda of the visit, Bakry said.

"However, Fiji has the same geographical characteristics as Indonesia which is an archipelagic country," he said,

According to Bakry, it would be a courtesy visit from the ambassador as Fiji has recently opened an embassy in Jakarta on April 6, 2011.

The Chairman of Regional House of Kota Tual, Rudolf Marthen Waremra said it was an honor to have a visit from the Fijian Ambassador as Kota Tual would be the first district in Indonesia to be visited by the envoy.

"There must be a certain agenda that the Fijian Ambassador prioritize to visit Kota Tual, and this would be a good history record for the district" Rudolf said.
