Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The police`s anti-terror unit Densus 88 is still chasing two wanted terror suspects in connection with a suicide bombing at a mosque in a police compound in Cirebon some time ago.

"We are still chasing two that have been put in the wanted list linked to the bombing in Cirebon," national police head of public information Senior Commissioner Boy Rafly Amar said here on Monday.

Boy however did not tell about the initials of the wanted suspects nor locations of the police operations.

"On Friday (May 6) and Saturday (May 7) we arrested three suspects connected to Cirebon bombing in Boyolali (Central Java) and Depok in West Java," he said.

He said JH was caught in Boyolali while Fd and E alias Baim were arrested in Depok.

Their arrest followed a further investigation into the bombing case and questioning of Ishak Andriana alias Abu Sifa caught in Cirebon at around 2pm on Friday (May 6).

"JH was arrested at 5pm on Friday in Boyolali in connection with the sale of an FN handgun while Fd at 7pm on Saturday in connection with the sale of an FN," he said.

On Saturday the police also arrested E in connection with the sale of ammunition for various kinds of firearms, he said.

"Upon searching police discovered 344 rounds of AK 47 and SS 1 ammunition, eight AK 47 magazines some of them fully loaded. In the search at the house of ZL, a buyer of weapons from Fd also in Depok police discovered an FN and 34 bullets," Boy said.

Ishak was arrrested in Karang Kencana, Pagongan Timur, Cirebon who along with suspect Maulana had hidden or protected wanted suspects Gendut and Irwan and he was able to assemble bombs.

Musala was arrested on Monday (May 2) in Slawi, Central Java, while selling goods at a night market.

"He was arrested for allegedly possessing and keeping explosives. Investigation however is still being done to seek his connection with the Cirebon suicide bomber Muchamad Syarif," Boy said.

Muchamad Syarif exploded the bomb at the Al Dzikro mosque in the Cirebon city police compound killing himself and hurting others, mostly police officers on April 15.

After further investigation the police arrested Syarif`s younger brother, Basuki for involvement in the case.(*)
