Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has made a commitment to provide up to 3.3 billion US dollars as a Member Country Partnership Strategy (MCPS) financing program to Indonesia for the period 2011-2014.

"MCPS National financing for the period of 2011-2014 is estimated at between 3 and 3.3 billion dollars for a number of recipients in the provinces of South Sumatra, in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Java, Bali and West Nusa Tenggara," said President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, Ahmad Mohammad Ali during the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with the Indonesian government here on Wednesday.

The partnership gave an emphasis on the use potential areas in Indonesia in five areas of development programs, which include education, health, infrastructure and energy.(*)
