The branch would help ensure smooth distribution of goods to areas stretching from Pamanukan in West Java to Pemalang in Central Java, PT.LG Electronics Indonesia chief finance officer Brad Mid said on Monday.
The opening of the new branch was a manifestation of the company`s commitment to provide better services to LG product users living in Cirebon and environs, he said.
He said the growing demand for LG products in Cirebon proved that the city was potential market for the company`s products. With the rising number of LG customers the company had taken the initiative to expand distribution networks including opening a new branch.
"By doing so the company can pay more attention to all customers living in and around Cirebon as part of the effort to develop the market," he said.
He said the growing market for LG products in and around Cirebon had prompted the company to provide better services to customers. "But the commitment to provide prime services is not the only thing that has drawn attention from the company to open the branch," he said.
