London (ANTARA News) - Up till now 601 Indonesians had been evacuated from Libya to Tunisia one day after the evacuation command post in Libya had been moved to Jerba on Saturday.

The Indonesian embassy in Tunis had evacuated another four migrant workers (TKW) from Libya, namely Maripah BT Tarbri Tarmad (26) from Cirebon, Marsiti Asria (37) from Serang, Raniah BT Carsidi Sarjim (26) from Indramayu and Watini BT Warta (28) from Cirebon.

The Indonesian embassy in a press release received by the Antara London correspondent on Tuesday said that the four arrived at the Ras Jedir border gate in the afternoon.

They had been accommodated at the embassy compound in Tripoli for a day or two.

The four were later taken to the border on Saturday morning and received by the evacuation team who will take care of their immigration papers.

The team also noted the exist of Saida Binti Kadi, (27), from Indramayu, who entered Tunisia via Ras Jedir with her employer Ali Elnass who was evacuating to Cairo.

In the initial stages of the evacuation by land another four TKWs entered Tunisia along with their employers to Cairo.

Up till now 601 Indonesians had left Libya via Tunisia starting with the arrival of the Ranhill TKI group on February 25, 2011.

In the two mass evacuations, a total of 468 Indonesians had been flown from Libya to Tunisia by Tunis Air chartered by the Indonesian embassy in Tunis. (*)
