Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Coal mining company PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has decided to allocate 60 percent of its last year`s net profit of Rp2.01 trillion as dividends.

The total amount of dividends reached Rp1.205 trillion or Rp523.12 per share, PT Bukit Asam President Director Sukrisno said here on Thursday.

He said Rp694.4 billion or 34.57 percent of the 2010 net profit would be allocated for other reserve, Rp28.8 billion or 1.43 percent for compulsory reserve, and Rp40.18 billion or 2 percent each for partnership program and environment management program, he said.

Last year, the company saw sales grow 4 percent to 12.93 million tons worth Rp7.91 trillion from 12.48 million tons in 2009.

Sukrisno said the company had set the target of production and purchase for 2011 at 17.57 million tons, a 23 percent increase compared to production and purchase this year.

"The target is based on the assumption that production and purchase will increase 23 percent from 13.02 million tons last year. The production increase is designed to meet the sales target of 16.88 million tons for 2011, a 23 percent increase from last year`s sales of 12.95 million tons," he said. (S012/A/HAJM/23:10/H-YH)
