Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Panji Gumilang, the chief of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School in Indramayu, West Java, was questioned at the National Police Headquarters here on Tuesday.

He arrived at the police headquarters at around 10am, accompanied by his lawyer Ali Tanjung.

Panji was questioned as a witness in the case of document forgery reported by Imam Supriyanto, the former minister in charge of boosting production of the Indonesia Islamic State (NII).

"(There has been) no forgery. We are being questioned about forgery complaint," Panji said.

Panji failed to meet the first police summons on Thursday (June 23).
