Liwa, Lampung (ANTARA News) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) disclosed that a 5.6-magnitude quake struck on Monday at 11.47 pm, with its epicenter located 114 kilometers southeast of Ende, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

The tremor was located 9.41 degrees southern latitude and 122.51 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 140 kilometers, but did not trigger a tsunami.

The epicenter`s quake lies 145 kilometers of Kupang, 243 kilometers southeast of Central Sulawesi, 251 kilometers northeast of Waingapu, and 1,779 kilometers from Jakarta.(*)
