Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s inflation rate reached 0.55 percent in June 2011 due to a hike in food prices, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS).

The inflation rate was fueled by a price hike in basic needs especially in the fourth week of June, BPS Chief Rusman Heriawan said here Friday.

The inflation rate of the calendar year of January-June 2011 reached 1.06 percent.
