Head of PB Djarum Kudus Yoppy Rosimin said here Saturday that Nana (Fransiska Ratnasari) has a big chance to become champion.
Nana walked into the finals after defeating second seed Susan Egelstaff from Scotland in two straight sets 21-15 and 21-17 in 37 minutes.
In the first round Nana collected most points from her opponent starting from 9-8,11-8,18-12, and closed the first round 21-15.
In the second round, the two sides were practically the same in the collection of points, and Nana was even left behind at 5-6 then 10-11, but later she had always been superior starting with 12-11, 18-14, and closed the game with a victory of 21-17.
Indonesia has a chance of increasing it championship after Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto entered the finals after defeating their French counterpart Ronan Labar/Mathias Quere 21-17 and 21-16 in 24 minutes.(*)
