Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned Bank BNI sold a 25 percent stake in BNI Securities (BNIS) for Rp114 billion to SBI Securities Co, Ltd. (SBIS) on July 8, BNI Director Yap Tjai Soen said on Tuesday.

The share sales would become new additional capital placement in BNIS, he said.

With the sales, SBIS holds a 25 percent stake in BNIS and BNI a 75 percent stake.

SBIS is a subsidiary of SBI Holdings Co. Ltd. It offers sophisticated and wide services.

Strong supports from its investors have made SBIS the leading online securities company in Japan in terms of customer accounts, balance sheet and share trade value.
