Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned news service company LKBN ANTARA signed a cooperation agreement with CubicOne to engage in promotional and marketing activities for companies, governmental and educational institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The signing here on Thursday was done by LKBN ANTARA`s president director Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf and CubicOne chairman Benjamin Yeow.

"The cooperation is an anticipation to the growing trade and services between Indonesia and Malaysia from year to year," he said.

CubicOne will be the business partner of LKBN ANTARA in Malaysis while LKBN ANTARA will be the business partner of CubicOne in Indonesia.

"A lot of educational institutions are conducting promotions in Indonesia. CubicOne will find advertisements for LKBN ANTARA from educational institutes in Malaysia, tourism objects in Malaysia and Malaysian companies that wish to promote in Indonesia. We will say LKBN ANTARA is the best choice for effective promotion in Indonesia," Benjamin said.

On the other hand, LKBN ANTARA would help institutions in Indonesia such as the ministry of education and the ministry of tourism that often conduct promotions in Malaysia to use CubicOne as an event organizer.

"Moreover CubicOne has two free tabloid editions namely Caraka and TKI for Indonesia nationals in Malaysia with circulation reaching 50,000 and 30,000 copies respectively. So before an Indonesian tourism promotion is done in Malaysia advertisements could be first found in the CubicOne`s tabloids," he said.

CubicOne is cooperating with the ANTARA Bureau in Kuala Lumpur with regard to providing contents for Caraka and TKI.
