Bogor, West Java (ANTARA News) - PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk board of directors has asked mass media to build harmonious cooperation and to strengthen a synergy for a common goal, the company spokesman Daniel Lavalle said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

"We hope to improve a more harmonious cooperation and to strengthen the synergy with our friends from mass media," Daniel said at a fast breaking function with newsmen of Jakarta and Bogor.

The fast breaking function was held at Wisma Indocement on Sudirman street in Jakarta and was attended by around 100 economic and business reporters from Jakarta and Bogor.

Daniel said the cooperation with mass media was of a great importance for the company convey various information and achievements it has made so far.

"Our friends from the mass media are the stakeholders who play a major role in disseminating various information, including of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, to the public," said Daniel Lavalle, the company`s president director.

He added that the one of the largest cement producing company in Indonesia wanted to make use of the Ramadan fasting month momentum to

formed a harmonious friendship with the members of the press.

Meanwhile, the company`s secretary Sahat Panggabean said the strong harmonious and synergistic relation with mass media was expected to have a mutual advantage for both parties.

"We would like to strengthen a synergy with our friends from mass media continuously in our effort to realize better, healthy, and outstanding reputation of the company," Panggabean said.

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk is one of Indonesia`s major producers of quality cement and specialty cement products marketed under the brand name "Tiga Roda".

Indocement was established in 1985 and has integrated cement operations with a total annual designed production capacity of 18.6 million tons of cement.

Indocement currently operates 12 plants, nine of which are located in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java; two in Palimanan, Cirebon, West Java; and one in Tarjun, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.
