"He was back to Mako Brimob at 1.50 on Sunday," Mako Brimob spokesman Adjunct Senior Commissioner K Budiman said here on Sunday.
He said Nazaruddin was fine and stayed in a cell in Block B.
Nazaruddin who had been wanted for the past two-and-a-half months after being named corruption suspect arrived at Halim Perdanakusumah airport in East Jakarta at 8.35 under tight security.
His security has become very important after he revealed from his hiding places names of political elite he accused of being involved in his case.
He was immediately taken to Mako Brimob that evening after arrival at Halim for a health examination before being taken to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for initial questioning.
The chief of the Mako Brimob detention center Commissioner Basuki had guaranteed that Nazaruddin would not be able to go out of the center except for the purpose of investigation.
"I guarantee he could be like Gayus who could easily leave his detention cell," he said.
