"Yes, he will be investigated at 10 am local time as a suspect," information chief of KPK Priharsa said in Jakarta Monday.
Nazaruddin is being held at the Mobil Brigade detention center in Kelapa Dua, Depok, since early of Sunday, following a verification by the KPK.
The former treasurer of the Democratic Party was apprehended in Colombia, and repatriated by a joint team of the KPK, the police, immigration, and the foreign ministry, on Saturday.
Nazar was flown by a chartered jet plane and landed at Halim Perdanakusuma air base at 7.50 pm local time, and brought straight to the detention center in Depok for medical examination.
Nazaruddin was also suspected of corruption of projects of other government ministries worth Rp6.037 trillion.
But appearing at the KPK was chairman of House Commission III of the Democratic Party faction Benny Kaharman.
Benny was reported also to know something about the meeting between Chandra M Hamzah and Nazaruddin at KPK at 10.25 am, but did not say anything to the press. (*)
