Banda Aceh (ANTARA News) - All drivers of motor vehicles carrying home-bound Idul Fitri or Lebaran travelers in Aceh province will undergo urine tests to make sure they have not consumed alcoholic drinks before driving.

"Before leaving the bus terminals, all drivers will be required to undergo a urine test," head of the Banda Aceh office of transportation, communication and informatics division, Muzakkir Tuloet said here on Thursday.

The urine test was also aimed at making sure that the drivers had not consumed alcohol and were in good health so that they could be trusted ti drive safely throughout their round trips, he said.

According to Muzakkir, the urine tests on home-bound Idul Fitri drivers for the inter-city and inter provincial transportation would start on Thursday (Aug 25) evening.
