Timur added that the red notice for Neneng Sri Wahyuni had thus already been distributed to all Interpol networks.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Police Chief General Timur Pradopo said the red notice on M Nazaruddin`s wife Neneng Sri Wahyuni had already been sent to Interpol headquarters in France.
"The Red Notice for Nunun has already been requested and I have sent it to Interpol in France and already being followed through," he said when attending a limited coordination meeting at the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in Jakarta Thursday.
Timur added that the red notice for Neneng Sri Wahyuni had thus already been distributed to all Interpol networks.
Neneng is a corruption suspect for a solar power plant project at the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration.
On the assumptions that Neneng is currently in Malaysia, the chief of police said "everything is possible, but nothing has been proven yet. I have to say once again that investigations are still underway," he said briefly.
Up till now, while Neneng is being sought by Interpol, Nazaruddin remained tight-lipped in front of investigators of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Nazaruddin`s lawyer Afrian Bondjol said his client said he knew his wife`s whereabouts.
"He knew, but I will not disclose it here," he said.(*)
