Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s inflation rate rose 0.34 percent in November on an increase in the prices of red chili and rice, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

"Ahead of year-end the prices of food stuffs, particularly red chili, rice and chicken egg contributed to the inflation rate," BPS Deputy Head for Distribution and Service Statistics Djamal said here on Thursday.

The November inflation rate brought the calendar year inflation rate to 3.20 percent year-on-year, he said.
