Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The National Mandate Party (PAN) will continue to support the government under the leadership of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono until 2014, general chairman Hatta Rajasa said.

He said the coalition in essence was for strengthening the presidential system that has been chosen by Indonesia.

Therefore, supporting the coalition was the responsibility of coalition members.

Hatta said PAN also supported every working program made by the government that was oriented to the people.

He said Indonesia has made improvements in the field of economy and Indonesia`s economy remained oriented to people.

"We are already on the right track and far from practicing neo-liberalism," he said.

He said PAN supports people-oriented programs such as agrarian reform, democratization and law enforcement.
