Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Former deputy of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Bibit Samad Riyanto advised new KPK leaders to be alert over possible intervention and to prevent it.

"Do not let you be interfered by anyone," he said here on Friday after attending the swearing in of the new KPK leadership.

He did not confirm or deny if he met a lot of intervention while dealing with corruption cases.

He also would not tell in detail the kinds and methods of intervention of KPK. "In short (prevent) any kind of intervention," he said.

The new chairman of the KPK, Abraham Samad, meanwhile stated that KPK would not be able to be interfered. He said the newly-elected KPK leaders were people with integrity.

"The new KPK members now are courageous and professional," Abraham said.
