Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Royal Thai Government, along with 15 of its associates and affiliates from the Thai fashion, textiles, and leather industries are more than ready to launch the Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair 2012 (BIFF & BIL 2012) between June 27th - July 1st 2012. This event aims to support Thai fashion and leather goods industry, as well as introduces this local emerging industry to the world market.

For BIFF & BIL 2012 prelude, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) started with BIFF & BIL 2012 press conference on 13th January, 2012 at Terminal 21 Shopping Center. BIFF & BIL 2012 was introduced to visitors along with a mini fashion show, where visitors were able to see some of the intricate and beautiful products from hot new designers based in Thailand.

Moreover, BIFF & BIL 2012 was holding a series of events to attract fashion and leather entrepreneurs as well as Thailand's trend-setters. The most talked-about events in January 2012 were sure to be seminars held by two of the UK's top fashion gurus. Mikel Rosen, the world-class designer and mentor, he held a workshop that imparted vital tips and information on "Display Techniques for the fashion industry" on January 11th, 2012, at UBC ll building, Sukhumvit 33. He taught entrepreneurs how to make their products catch the eye of buyers and industry players. Lee Lapthorne, who played an important role in organizing Paris fashion week, held a seminar on "Fashion trends for Spring and Summer 2013" on January 13th, 2012, at UBC ll building, Sukhumvit 33. This seminar was about how to reach out to the region's entrepreneurs and designers and give visitors a new perspective on the fashion and leather goods industries.

These were just highlights of the event. There will be so much more for visitors to witness at BIFF & BIL 2012, one of the biggest fashion events in Thailand. This event will encourage the potential Thai fashion industry, and also boost Thailand's economy. In addition, BIFF & BIL 2012 will be another stage for Thai fashion industry associations and Thai designers, helping them to get closer to the world market through the latest fashion trends and innovations.

The Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair 2012 will be held from June 27th - July 1st, 2012, at Challenger 2, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Thailand.

Trade day: June 27th - 29th, 2012, 10.00 - 18.00 hrs.
Public day: June 30th - July 1st, 2012, 10.00 - 21.00 hrs.
