KPK spokesman Johan Budi said here Thursday, in line with KPK chairman Abraham Samad`s recent statement, Angelina, a member of the House of Representatives Commission X, would be detained only when her dossier was completed.
For now Angelina was serving as a witness in the case of former Democrat Party treasurer Nazaruddin who is on trial for the same case as Angelina.
The KPK had so far yet to draw up a schedule for the questioning of Angelina as a suspect in the corruption case, Johan said.
Asked about Angelina`s testimony in M Nazaruddin`s court trial on Wednesday which many people consider to be doubtful, Johan said the KPK would leave the matter to the Corruption Court jury.
But the KPK had taken note of everything Angelina had said in her testimony and use it to develop its investigation into the Sea Games athletes` village corruption case, he said.
In her statements in Wednesday`s Corruption Court session, Angelina denied she had received Rp5 billion together with another legislator, I Waytan Koster, as a "fee" for helping PT Duta Graha Indah (PT DGI) win the contract on the Sea Games athletes` village project at Jakabaring, Palembang.
She also refuted allegations she had attended several meetings of a Democrat Party fact-finding team where she had admitted having received Rp 5 billion from Permai Group as a fee for arranging the awarding of Sea Games athletes village contract to PT DGI as mentioned by M Nazaruddin.
The former Miss Indonesia had also refused to admit she had frequently communicated with former PT Anak Negeri finance director Mindo Rosalina Manulang through a Blackberry Messanger (BBm) to discuss the disbursement of funds indicated by the terms "malang apple" and "washington apple" for certain persons referred to as "big chairman" and "big boss."
