Makassar, S Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) invited Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand to participate in a regional badminton circuit involving Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua in Sudiang sport hall on April 10-14.

Secretary to the South Sulawesi badminton circuit organizing committee, Atman Amir said here on Monday, South Korea will likely enliven the event.

In addition, the badminton circuit organizing committee also invited 33 PBSI chapters and other 70 badminton clubs across the country to join the competition.

According to him, several big clubs such as the badminton clubs of PB Djarum, PB Pertamina and PB Jaya Raya were also invited.

"We are optimistic that the number of participants will equalize the amount of last year`s participants reaching 618," he said. (*)
